A.V. Imports has added Solera 1847, a cream sherry, to its portfolio. The sweet oloroso sherry is produced by Gonzalez Byass, a top sherry producer that also makes Tio Pepe. Solera 1847 features ripe fig and raisin flavors, the company says, and is a good accompaniment to cheese, foie gras and desserts. Available nationwide, the 36 proof cream sherry has a suggested retail price of $15.99.
