NWPPA Attracts First Online Training Enrollee.

Sue Fullerton has become the first student of Northwest Public Power Association's new Web-Based Training.

Fullerton, an employee at Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative in La Grande, Ore., signed up for Assessment of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL 390), a class which offers instruction in the preparation of a portfolio designed to demonstrate the knowledge a student has acquired through previous coursework.

Assessment of Prior Experiential Learning involves the documentation of learning experiences which were not under a college's sponsorship, but are deemed equivalent to college level learning.

This particular course is offered through Eastern Oregon University.
