Quick Eagle Networks, Inc., Sunnyvale, Calif., a provider of intelligent WAN access solutions, has announced new enhancements to the 4230 WAN Access Router, a WAN access device that is a data service unit (DSU), a router and a WAN probe. The 4230 Access Router now offers the RADIUS authentication protocol and an optional DSX-1 port for voice traffic.
Looking to make an impact on Cisco's traditional branch-office router strong hold, Quick Eagle has added to the 4230 WAN Access Router an optional DSX-1 port to enable the integration of voice traffic from a digital PBX.
