Education Technology News, November, 1999

NASA NEWS - If your students are interested in space, then they'll love a new web-based program at the NASA Quest site. "Space Shuttle Countdown: Landing to Launch," is a web series that offers students tours of the launch control center, vehicle assembly building and launch platform. Students and teachers can e-mail questions to experts and get answers.

There are typically two to four events a month students can watch and ask questions about. The next event on Nov. 17 takes a look at the Orbiter Processing Facility. A complete schedule can be found on the web site, www.quest.arc.nasa.gov/space/events/ksc99/.
