Southern Wine & Spirits of New York Inc.--a division of Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc., the nation's leading wine and spirits distributor with operations in 27 states--announced that it is acquiring certain assets of Eber-NDC, LLC, Eber Bros. Wine & Liquor Corp., including the House of Burgundy and the Liberty Wine Company divisions, all based in New York.
The transaction is due to close March 31. Lester Eber is joining Southern as senior vice president, focusing on legislative and governmental regulations and will work to help the New York division with its customers and suppliers.
