A new generation of simulation and off-line programming is bringing needed solutions to the U.S. industrial robotics market. According to the new strategic research by Frost & Sullivan ( www.frost.com ) "U.S. Industrial Robotics Simulation and Control Software Markets," this industry is estimated to have a market value of $4.6 billion, and revenue growth is expected to increase by 28.7 percent by 2003. This industry segment will begin to provide solutions for the more than 125,000 robots that were installed in North American manufacturing facilities since 1960.
