ANRITSU DEBUTS 48 VOLT DC POWER SUPPLY FOR LAN/MAN SWITCHES.(Product Announcement)

Anritsu Company's Network Solutions Group has debuted its MultiFlow 5000 Layer 2/3/4 switches with -48 Volt DC power supplies. DC power supplies provide greater reliability to users who require that their telecommunications equipment operate exclusively from battery power to protect against AC power failures. The new power supplies conform to the telecom industry standard for DC power and enable the MultiFlow 5000 to meet the reliability needs of Anritsu's service provider and large enterprise customers for mission-critical network operation.
