Worldwide totals for layer 2 and layer 3 Ethernet switch revenue grew 4% between 1Q03 and 2Q03 to $2.6 billion, and is expected to grow 21% between 2003 and 2006, from $11.2 billion to $13.6 billion, according to Infonetics Research's newest quarterly market share and forecast service, L2-L3 Ethernet Switches.
