Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS), Blue Bell, Pa, has announced the successful installation in the City of Las Vegas of its new e-@ction ClearPath Plus CS7101 server, the next generation of the company's flagship ClearPath mainframe line launched earlier this year.
The City of Las Vegas has been a long-time Unisys ClearPath user for over 25 years. Reluctant to give up its valued legacy systems, yet knowing they needed to move towards a Windows 2000 environment, the ClearPath Plus CS7101 proved to be the natural fit going forward.
