ACUCORP ENHANCES ITS SOA OFFERING USING BEA TECHNOLOGY.

Acucorp, Inc., an international provider of information technology (IT) solutions that revitalize legacy applications, has signed a technology agreement with BEA Systems, Inc. The two companies will focus on extending legacy application assets by deploying them within a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) using Acucorp's extend(R) solutions and BEA WebLogic(R) 8.1. In addition, BEA named Acucorp's ACUCOBOL-GT a certified COBOL compiler for Tuxedo 8.0 and 8.1. As a result of BEA and Acucorp's collaborative efforts, organizations can have award-winning technology, services and solutions designed for integrating, leveraging and helping to extend legacy mainframe and online transaction processing (OLTP) applications into modern, service-oriented open systems architectures....
