AtMail, a leading provider of easy-to-use, Linux-based email management appliances and software, has announced the availability of ArchiveVault 1.2. The new version of its email archiving software helps organizations simplify email storage and management with new features that provide multi-user support and auto-updates.
"With the addition of the auto-update capabilities our valued customers can now have access to the latest version of the ArchiveVault software without having to download and install upgrade patches," said Corey Bissaillon, vice president of sales at AtMail. "We are also making ArchiveVault available to buy with Atmail Webmail, since many of our customers are seeking archiving solutions for their new mailservers."

Added features of ArchiveVault 1.2 release include: -- MD5 Check-summing of messages: Verifies message integrity to resist tampering. -- Multiple-User support: Allows more than one administrator to access the archive. -- Auto-Update for version upgrades: Keeps the software version current without requiring the application of a patch.
ArchiveVault provides email system administrators with the ability to capture, store, and recover incoming, outgoing and internal email. The archiving solution offers a secure Web-based management utility to quickly search and find any email. Maintaining a secure record of business-critical communications, transaction and intellectual property is especially important in order to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley, the new Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, HIPAA, the Freedom of Information Act and other regulations. ArchiveVault allows organizations to quickly resolve disputes and prevent litigation.
