St. Thomas' Monissey named Gonzaga's dean.

Florida Bar News, June, 2001

Dan Morrissey, dean at St. Thomas University School of Law from 1994-99, has been appointed dean of the school of law at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Morrissey, who has remained on the faculty at St. Thomas since he stepped down as dean, will assume his duties at Gonzaga on August 1.

"I'm delighted to have been at St. Thomas these last seven years, said Morrissey. "The school has really come of age, gaining admission to our learned society, the Association of American Law Schools, this past January. The leadership of St. Thomas' president, Monsignor Franklyn Casale, has been outstanding, and I'm very grateful for his support for all our endeavors."
