IBM cooperates with Intel and Microsoft to supply TCO.

International Business Machines (IBM) Corp. has agreed to cooperate with Intel Corp. and Microsoft to supply computer technology with highly efficient Total Cost of Onwrship (TCO). The sophisticated technology of Intel and Microsoft would support the TCO program launched by IBM. For example, Windows 2000 from Microsoft could be operated in Windows NT and Exchange that update system of operation could be made automatically.
In addition, Windows 2000 make possible all users connected with server and administration centrally. To support the program, IBM will launch server of IBM Netfinity 8500R 8-way and extension cluser to serve Netfinity certified by microsoft.
