Indonesian Investment Highlights, May, 2001
PT BMW Indonesia is a German company to open its office at the commercial district of Jalan Sudirman in Jakarta. PT BMW will invest US$15 million to operate as a main distributor for BMA cars. It hopes to earn US$250 million in distribution fee a year. The company hopes to start operation in April 2003 employing 70 Indonesians and 12 expatriates.
The investment fund will include US$5.4 million in equity and the rest in loan.
