Sinar Musi builds new CPO factory.(Corporate Investment)(Sinar Musi Prima)(Crude Palm Oil)(Brief Article)

Grochem Sdn Bhd will invest US$14 million for a CPO processing plant to be built in South Sulawesi in cooperation with PT Sinar Musi Prima. The factory will be built in integration with an oil palm plantation of 118 hectares. The fund will also be used to provide trade infrastructure. Around US$3 million will be used to build tanks and port facility.
The rest will be used to built the factory including units to produce CPO, cooking oil, margarine, soap and other derivatives of CPO. The factory to be built in the regency of Banyuasin, will have capacity to process 60 tons of fresh fruit bunches per hour, equivalent to 5,000-6,000 tons of CPO.
