Vodafone, Portugal's second largest mobile phone operator, saw subscriber numbers exceed 4 million in November, giving it a 34% market share. The figures were quoted on December 5 by a manager of the local affiliate of the British company, in a statement given to the Lusa press agency. This represents growth of 12% compared to last year.
