ELEKTRIM OFFERS NEGOTIATIONS ON PTC TO VIVENDI AND DEUTSCHE TELEKOM.(Vivendi Universal )(Brief Article)

The Polish Elektrim group offered on January 16 to return to the negotiating table with French group Vivendi Universal (VU) and Deutsche Telekom to settle differences between the three companies over control of Poland's leading mobile telephony operator PTC. Elektrim has issued a statement indicating that "in view of the fact that differences over control of PTC show no signs of disappearing, (...) Elektrim Chairman Piotr Nurowski has sent a letter to Deutsche Telekom and Vivendi Universal in which he offers to meet representatives from the parties concerned in order to find a settlement".
