According to Al-Bayan newspaper (February 9, 2000), the Emirates Transportation Company has recently contracted the Arab Automobile Company to provide 5 air-conditioned Nissan buses. The capacity per bus is 30 passengers and the total cost of the 5 buses is Dh 750,000. The marketing manager of the Emirates Transportation Company, Mr.
Redha Darweesh Rahma, said the new buses would enable the firms to expand its services to all segments of society. (Dh3.67=$1).
