UAE: ENRON, ELF TO EXECUTE DOLPHIN GAS PROJECT.

According to Al-Hayat newspaper (March 2, 2000), the Emirates Offset Program yesterday signed an agreement with the American Enron Company and the French Elf Company. This agreement consists of a strategic partnership to execute the Dolphin project. The project aims to supply the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman with Qatari gas at a cost of $8-$10 billion.

Initially, the Dolphin project will supply 3 billion cubic meters of natural gas on a daily basis through a pipeline between Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the Sultanate of Oman.
