MOROCCO: FUJITSU-SIEMENS PRESENTS NEW PRODUCTS.(Brief Article)

According to Al-Hayat newspaper (May 17, 2000), the German-Japanese Fujitsu-Siemens Computer Manufacturing Company announced that it will market $40 million worth of Internet-related peripherals and computer networks in Morocco this year. The company will also introduce to the Moroccan market the following products: Siemens computers, "Windows 98" operating programs and the Microsoft Office package.
The company will also offer Internet service for a monthly fee of MD 295 for 32-RAM computers and MD 450 for 64-RAM computers. Internet subscriptions are offered for free through the Maroc Telecom Company for a 3-year period.
