MIDDLE EAST: ARAB BANK UNVEILS INTERNET BANKING SERVICES.(Brief Article)

Arab Bank has just launched its new Internet banking service for retail customers, reports the Bahrain Tribune. The service is based on the e-service platform Twister, designed by Brokat, a leading supplier of software for secure e-banking and e-business solutions. This service offers all standardized banking transactions, including currency transfers and account statements in both Arabic and English.
Brokat Infosystems, Vienna, a subsidiary of Brokat that serves the Middle East, implemented the project in conjunction with Jordan's Specialized Technical Services Software Company and its sister company Zeine Technological Applications.
