RUSSIA: FEDERAL PROSECUTOR SUMMONS NTV ANCHORMAN...(Yevgenii Kiselev)(Brief Article)

The Office of the Prosecutor-General on 19 November issued a summons to NTV General Director and anchorman Yevgenii Kiselev to appear for questioning. The announcement of the summons was made soon after the broadcast of the show "Itogi," which Kiselev hosts and which criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin for returning to Soviet management techniques, AP reported.
NTV reported that it has no information about why Kiselev was being summoned but said that according to unofficial information law enforcement officials are interested in a show on NTV that appeared several years ago, RFE/RL's Moscow bureau reported.
