EGYPT: CAIRO OPEC MINISTERS' CONFERENCE - END OF JUNE 2000.

Al-Quds newspaper reports that OPEC announced in mid-May 2000 that the next OPEC Ministers' conference would be held in Cairo, at the end of June 2000. The newspaper notes that the announcement was made by the Kuwait OPEC Organization Center. OPEC, founded in 1968, includes Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Algeria, Libya, Iraq, Qatar, Egypt, Syria and Bahrain.
