QATAR: COOPERATION WITH BAHRAIN ON DOLPHIN PROJECT CONFERENCE.(natural gas pipeline)(Brief Article)

According to A-Raya newspaper, in the middle of May 2000 talks took place between Qatar and Bahrain on the construction of a pipeline to transport Qatari natural gas as part of the Dolphin Project. The newspaper quotes from a joint statement issued at the end of April 2000 by ruler of Qatar Sheikh Jasem Bin Hamad Al-Thani and ruler of Bahrain Sheikh Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
They announced the establishment of joint machinery to supervise commercial and financial cooperation between the two countries in connection with the project.
