CHINA: DOUBLECLICK TO RECEIVE 10-20 PERCENT OF CHINA'S ON-LINE ADVERTISING EXPENDITURE.

According to Shanghai Daily, the world's largest on-line advertising company, DoubleClick, is expected to receive 10-20 percent of China's advertising expenditure in 2001. Optimism surrounding China's entry into the WTO has formed, as this move is likely to increase the flow of incoming foreign investments as well as bring to the implementing of clearer laws.

The company has been present in China since August of this year and currently has three offices operating in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
