ALGERIA: BUILDING PERMIT ISSUED FOR SHERATON HOTELS.(Brief Article)

According to Al-Yaum newspaper, at the beginning of June 2000 the Libyan construction company Libco was granted a permit to build three hotels belonging to the Sheraton chain in Algeria. The newspaper notes that one of the hotels is to be built in the capital, a second one in Oran, and the third in the town of Hassi Mas`oud. The value of the deal is reported to be $165 million.
