IPR Strategic Business Information Database, July, 2001
The Yemeni government has announced this week that it will not attend the World Trade Organization (WTO) meeting held in Doha in November if Israel participates, the Yemen Times (Sana'a) reports. A government official said: "It is rather difficult to take part in such a conference under such circumstances, especially while Israel is waging an unjustified, Zionist inspired aggression and genocide against the Palestinian people." Israel has already confirmed its participation in the conference.
