RUSSIA: RENAISSANCE CAPITAL TO BE THE 1ST RUSSIAN INVESTMENT COMPANY TO ISSUE BONDS.(Brief Article)

Last week, Renaissance Capital announced that it shall become the first Russian investment company to issue bonds. The 500 million Ruble issue of bonds is to be placed through the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX). The bonds will have a maturity of two years, a face value of 1,000 Rubles each and will pay a 2.5% coupon every 90 days.
Renaissance Capital plans to market the bonds in the second half of October 2001, according to the Moscow Times. Renaissance Capital is a leading Russian investment bank which focuses on equity and fixed income brokerage, corporate finance and debt capital markets. The company was established in 1995. Renaissance Capital is a fully licensed broker in the US, UK and in Russia. -(EMEconomy.com)
