Al-Ittihad newspaper reports on the opening of the 9th congress of the Gulf States Federation of Gas Producing Companies, held in Abu Dhabi at the end of May 2001. The newspaper notes that the opening session was attended by Sheikh Muhammad Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the federation, and representatives of the Abu Dhabi fuel company ADNOC, the Saudi fuel company ARAMCO and the Bahraini fuel company BAPCO, as well as JASCO, Energy Solution, Total Elf Fina, Exxon Mobil and IFP.
