Satyam Computer Services Ltd, India's fourth largest software services company, has reported that in the third quarter of the current fiscal year, its net profits rose to 1.19 billion rupees (US$24.6 million). Net profits rose by 36% compared with the 875.09 million (US$18.09 million) posted in the same quarter in the previous year.
These results exceeded analyst's expectations. Satyam announced that its revenues rose to 4.46 billion rupees (US$92.2 million), compared with the revenues of 3.33 billion (US$68.9 million) posted in the previous year.
