A-Dustour newspaper reported on the Congress of the Arab Federation of Consumer Protection Unions held in Amman, Jordan, in early November 2001. The Congress was organized by the Jordanian National Union for Consumer Protection. Participating in this Congress were the Assistant Secretary Generals of the Consumer Protection Unions of six Arab states: Yemen, Lebanon, Bahrain, Sudan, Morocco, and Jordan.
