INDIA: SAMSUNG PLANS TO MAKE AIR CONDITIONERS IN INDIA.(Samsung India Electronics Ltd.)(Brief Article)

Samsung India has announced that it shall begin to manufacture air conditioners at its Noida plant next month. The company stated that the plants initial installed capacity will be 100,000 units per year. In 2001, Samsung sold 45,000 air conditioners in India, according to The Times of India. The company claims to have a 12% share of the Indian air conditioner market. -(EMEconomy.com)
