CHINA: CHINA MOBILE SHANGHAI SELECTS ASIAINFO TO BUILD PROVINCIAL DATA NETWORK.

Nasdaq-listed AsiaInfo Holdings, provider of telecom network integration and software solutions in China, announced it has signed a contract to build a provincial data network and provide its customer care and billing (CC&B) software to Shanghai Mobile, one of China Mobile's largest provincial subsidiaries.
Under the terms of the contract, AsiaInfo will design and integrate the data network for Shanghai Mobile, as well as provide its flagship customer care and billing software -- AIOBS. Upon completion of the project, Shanghai Mobile will be able to offer wireless data services such as wireless Internet access and VoIP to businesses and individuals in one ofChina's most economically developed regions.
