UAE: PRESS CONFERENCE OF THE DELEGATION TO THE WTO MEETING.

Al-Ittihad newspaper reported on the press conference held in late December 2001 by the UAE delegation to the World Trade Organization Ministers Congress held in Qatar in November 2001. Taking part in the press conference were the representative of the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade, Abdullah Salim a-Tarifi, who is also Chairman of the Council to Implement WTO Decisions; the Manager of the Section for treating WTO matters in the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade, Sa'id Suyad a-Nusaybi; Ms.
Amal a-Sharhan of the UAE Central Bank; Habib al-'Abudi of the Agriculture Ministry; and the economic lecturer at the University of the Emirates, Ms. Dr. Fatma a-Shamasi.
