SAUDI ARABIA: INDUSTRY MINISTRY SIGNED AGREEMENT WITH UNIDO.(United Nations Industrial Development Organization)(Brief Article)

According to Al-Hayat newspaper (February 14, 2002), the Saudi Ministry of Industry signed an agreement with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). UNIDO will help the Kingdom to impose a first industrial strategy for both the local private and public sectors. UNIDO, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, has been working with governments, business associations and individual companies to solve industrial problems - and equip them to help themselves for more than 30 years.
Experts from UNIDO, officials from the Saudi Ministry of Industry and representatives of the Saudi private sector will participate in preparing the first Saudi industrial strategy. (Info Prod Research (Middle East) Ltd.)
