ISRAEL: ISRAEL AND WORLD BANK SIGN MOU.(Memorandum of Understanding)(Brief Article)

Israel signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Economic Development Institute, an agency of the World Bank (WB), Globes reports. The MoU extends an earlier agreement with the World Bank that proscribed the areas in which the Israeli Foreign Ministry Centre for International Cooperation with developing countries (MASHAV) would provide aid, using the frameworks and money provided by the bank.

Under the MoU, Israel commits to facilitate the modernization of developing countries and share advanced technologies with them.
