UAE: EMIRATES FRENCH WATHBA COMPANY TO CLONE 2,000 PALM SHRUBS.(Emirati-French Al-Wathba Company signs contract with resident)(Brief Article)

According to Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper (February 18, 2002), a resident recently signed a contract with the Emirati-French Al-Wathba Company, to clone 2,000 palm shrubs. As of 1997, the Al-Wathba Company has been cloning and producing hundreds of thousands of hybrid palm trees. These hybrids are produced based on local and regional climate conditions.
