UAE: PURCHASE OF NEW COMPUTER FOR DUBAI CITY.(from Fujitsu Siemens Computers and S.M.P Computers)(Brief Article)

Al-Bayan newspaper reported details of the Dubai City plan to upgrade their computer capability. The paper quoted the Manager of the Information Technology Department of Dubai City, Abdul Hakim Malik, who said in early January 2002 that the City purchased a new computer from Fujitso Siemens Computers.
The paper noted that the contract for the computer was signed with S.M.P Computers, a Dubai partner of Fuji Siemens. The paper went on to quote the sales manager of S.M.P., Ibrahim Buhairi, who said that the contract includes installation of the computer, its operation, and professional support for a period of three years.
