BRAZIL: ROLLS-ROYCE WINS US$51 MILLION POWER CONTRACT IN BRAZIL.(Brief Article)

Rolls-Royce, the second-largest aircraft engine maker in the world, has announced that it has won a ?25 million (US$35.5 million) order for power generation equipment in Brazil. This order includes a third RB211 Dry Low Emission (DLE) gas turbine for a power station. In addition, the company has a new long-term service agreement in Brazil which is valued at another ?11 million (US$15.6 million).

Therefore in total the company has signed deals worth US$51 million in Brazil. The power station was designed and built by Rolls-Royce for a fertilizer plant operated by Petrobras at Fafen, located in the state of Bahia, Brazil.
