The KSA Today newspaper reported on the completion of the renovation plan of the Boeing 747-200 airplane by the Salam Airplane Maintenance Company. The paper noted that the company, which operates in the Riyadh Airport, completed renovation of the plane belonging to Kuwait Airlines in early January 2002.

It was also announced that the company renovated the electronic systems, the control systems, and the passenger compartments. The work was completed ahead of schedule.
