USA: MCDONNELL DOUGLAS AWARDED CONTRACT TO SUPPORT REMANUFACTURING OF APACHE AIRCRAFT.(Brief Article)

(DoD) McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, Mesa, Ariz., is being awarded a $7,843,749 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract (DAAH23-00-C-0124) for the efforts necessary to support the Government of Israel Program which includes the remanufacture and delivery of one AH-64A Apache model aircraft into a Longbow AH-64D aircraft including a new fuselage.
Other requirements for this effort include, program management, proposal preparation, spares, material tracking, drawing changes, software sanitization, and no over and above line. Work will be performed in Mesa, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract.
