CHINA: WORLD BANK AIMS TO STRENGTHEN COOPERATION WITH CHINA.(Brief Article)

James David Wolfensohn, the president of the World Bank (WB), stated that the World Bank aims to strengthen cooperation with China and with China's Sichuan Province. James David Wolfensohn met with Zhang Zhongwei, Sichuan's Governor during his two-day visit to China, according to China Daily.
The president of the WB was informed about projects in the province involving WB loans and the province's development. He added that Sichuan's projects involving WB loans were under good management. The president stated that the WB could provide assistance in agriculture, education, health, the private economic sector, and high-tech. -(EMEconomy.com)
