LEBANON: ARAB AIR TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION MEETS IN BEIRUT.(Brief Article)

According to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper (May 6, 2002), the Executive Committee of the Arab Air Transport Association is holding its 35th meeting in Beirut on May 6. Led by the Director General of the Arabian Saudi Airlines Corporation and the Chairman of the Committee, Khaled Abdullah Bin Bakr, the committee will debate and draw up new strategies and policies for the Arab airliners.
The committee will also discuss ways of activating the Arab airliners' participation in various collective projects such as E-Commerce, automatic reservations and joint fuel purchasing.
