USA: BAE SYSTEMS AWARDED CONTRACT FOR OPERATION OF NAVAL RADIO FACILITY.(Brief Article)

(DoD) BAE Systems, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $5,308,811 firm-fixed-price contract for operation and maintenance of the Naval Radio Transmitter Facility, Lualualei, Hawaii; the Satellite Communication Facility, Wahiawa, Hawaii; and the Tactical Support Communication Facility, Kaneohe, Hawaii.

This contract includes options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $26,343,138. Work will be performed in Lualualei, Hawaii (38 percent); Wahiawa, Hawaii (38 percent); and Kaneohe, Hawaii (24 percent), and is to be completed by September 2003.
