UAE: PARTICIPATION OF DUBAI CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY IN 2002 ARAB TOURISM FAIR.(announces Dubai International Airport development plans)(Brief Article)

Al-Bayan newspaper reported on the plan of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority to develop the Dubai International Airport with an investment of $2.5 billion. The development plan will be exhibited at the 2002 Arab Tourism Fair held in early May 2002 in Dubai. The paper quoted the Director of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Sheikh Ahmad bin Sa'id al-Maktum, who said that the area of the Authority pavilion at the Fair will be 200 square meters.
About 2000 travel and tourist agents from eighty countries will participate in the Fair.
