Gazprom subsidiaries produced 341 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas in the first eight months of the year, which was 8 bcm more than in the same period last year, the company said. Growth in production was achieved as a result of the launch of the Zapolyarnoye gas field and also due to work to stabilize production at the company's base fields.

Since the start of the year the company has processed 22.4 bcm of gas and 6.3 million tonnes of gas condensate and oil. The company has met its contractual obligations to supply to 223 bcm of gas to the domestic market. - (EMEconomy.com)
