USA: EXXON MOBIL FUELS AWARDED CONTRACT FOR PREMIUM UNLEADED GASOLINE.(Brief Article)

(DoD) Exxon Mobil Fuels Marketing, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded $8,341,073 fixed-price with economic-price adjustment type contract for 10,784,241 gallons of premium unleaded gasoline, diesel fuel #2 and fuel oil #2 for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, NATO and other DoD. Work will also be performed in the Islands of Italy.

The performance completion date is scheduled for Oct. 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The proposals were solicited through the Web and four responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-02-D-1016)
