USA: RAYTHEON SYSTEMS AWARDED CONTRACT TO MANUFACTURE RECEIVER CONVERTERS FOR AIRCRAFT.(Brief Article)

(DoD) Raytheon Systems Co., McKinney, Texas, is being awarded a $21,000,000 firm-fixed-price-order contract to manufacture 35 receiver converters for the AN/AAS-38 FLIR on the F/A 18 aircraft. Work will be performed in McKinney and is to be completed by June 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia is the contracting activity (N00383-98-G-006J) (Order 5150).
