USA: BAE SYSTEMS AWARDED CONTRACT TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE B-1B AIRCRAFT.(Brief Article)

(DoD) BAE Systems, Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $9,062,119.50 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for flare, MJU-23 A/B, 14,511 each, in the support of the B-1B aircraft. The location of performance is BAE Systems, Ark. Operation, Highland Industrial Park. Blvd M7, E. Camden, Ariz. Total funds have been obligated.

This work will be completed by October 2003. Solicitation began April 2002 and negotiations were completed August 2002. The Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42630-02-C-0340).
