UAE: SYMPOSIUM ON IMPROVEMENT OF GROUND SERVICES AT DUBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

Al-Bayan newspaper reported on a symposium held in mid-September 2002 on the development of ground services at the Dubai International Airport, at the initiative of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. The symposium was held at the Emirates Towers Hotel, with the participation of representatives of all the Authorities operating at the airport: Police, Customs, Immigration, and Duty-Free.
The paper quoted the Manager of the Strategy Section of the Civil Aviation Authority, Jamal al-Hay, who said that the aim of the symposium was to improve the quality of service given in the airport.
